THE TRANSLATION SERVICE PERFORMED BY PROFESSIONALS, NOT AUTOMATIC TRANSLATORS
Language Addicted translates manuals, catalogues, brochures, internet sites, product specifications, publicity materials, patents, technical specifications, and commercial texts from English and German into Italian. Specialised in the Mechanical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer, Hardware/Software sectors. Qualified to perform sworn translations.
Language Addicted is your point of reference for linguistic communication which is necessary for making sure that technologies and equipment built abroad and sold in Italy are usable and marketable through the translation of manuals and catalogues.
HUMAN AND PROFESSIONAL VALUES
We scrupulously follow the ethical code that entails translating exclusively into your own mother-tongue. We keep constantly updated on the latest language changes (e.g. grammar and vocabulary evolutions) in order to provide a high-quality service. Our years of experience in the translation sector allow us to translate every type of document, from publicity materials to technical specifications, with the utmost accuracy.
SPEED AND QUALITY
On average, a translator is able to translate 2,000 – 3,000 words a day. Any more than that would mean a drop in terms of quality. However, for urgent deliveries, we have a team which is also available out of business hours. This service, which entails a surcharge, has allowed many of our clients to resolve matters related to those emergencies which sometimes come up in the world of work with piece of mind.
Language Addicted’s modus operandi is based on close client relations, allowing the translator to reproduce the style and terminologies which are most representative. The translator will try to get a hold of as much information as possible, also by asking to consult reference glossaries and material. This form of cooperation has often been the key to producing translations which are very close to the original.
Every translation is carried out with up-to-date computer-assisted translation systems (CAT Tools): SDL Trados Studio 2014, Wordfast Pro or TagEditor in combination with Workbench.

The idea of Language Addicted came from Alessio Panini, born in Carpi (province of Modena) in 1985. After attending the “F. Selmi” language school in Modena, he graduated in Linguistic Mediation at the “Carlo Bo” School for Interpreters and Translators in 2007. Immediately after graduating, he became a translator at the “Centro Europeo Traduzioni” (European Translation Centre) in Modena. His great passion for this profession motivated his choice to launch a career as a freelance translator/interpreter setting up collaborations with various web, communication, editorial and translation agencies throughout the world.
That’s how Language Addicted Translation Service came to be.
